This 46 acre property located on a sand track just off of Sandy Lane, Robe it is ideal for
guests who want to be relax in a picturesque, peaceful setting but appreciate life’s little luxuries
Constructed of timber and corrugated iron Watson Park has floor to ceiling windows that
capture the northern sun. A wonderful outdoor entertaining area with stainless steel BBQ,
four large bedrooms that can be made up a kings or twins, 2 bathrooms, double spa bath,
large living area with TV / DVD / surround sound and slow combustion wood heater are some
of the stand out features. Guests can unwind and enjoy a complimentary bottle of local
wine on arrival. Also included is a selection of teas, ground coffee, fresh bread and
produce, including bacon, eggs and tomato for your breakfast.
This property consists of four grazing paddocks suitable for horses and yards for dogs.
It is well situated for guests to enjoy horse riding along Long Beach and West/Back
Beaches as well as bush rides. Horse yards together with ample space for horse floats
are provided with a flat exercise paddock visible from the house. A self enclosed dog
yard and kennel for small to medium size animals and a dog proof yard is provided for
larger dogs at the rear of the house.
The historic seaside township of Robe is one of South Australia’s most popular seaside
destinations. Enjoy the magnificent coastal cliffside walks and beaches,
take a heritage walk through the town centre or bushwalk in the Little Dip
Conservation Park. Enjoy fresh lobster (in season) or dine on local produce in
the local restaurants.
Try some fishing from the jetty or take a fishing charter
out into Guichen Bay. A short scenic drive away you will find the Mt Benson cellar
doors and for those that want to venture a bit further; the blue lake at Mt Gambier,
the Coonawarra wine region and the World heritage Naracoorte caves.
